New year, new Timetable, New Workshop
It’s the start of a new year and a new programme of workshops. My first quarter is a busy one, with family visiting from abroad, three residential weeks at Gartmore House (including our first Improvers Week, which I’m especially looking forward to), and a welcome return to Glasgow School of Art to work with the 2nd year Fine Art Photography students on their photo book project.
I’m excited about all of it, though it hasn’t left much time for my own workshops. There are so many things I’d love to offer this year, alongside the requests I’ve had from both existing and newly emerging book binders.
The first of the new workshops is an evening session
making a small hardback book with a single-section
insert. It’s a fun, easy-to-make wee book and rather
addictive – it makes a great gift, and the variations are
endless.
The workshop is on Thursday, 26 March from 6.30 pm
to 9 pm and you can book your place here.
