Ever dreamed of making books? On this one-day course, you will learn how to make a multi-section hardback book. No complicated equipment or expensive tools required!

The workshop will take you through the different stages of the binding process, including folding and sewing pages, to make up a book block. You will also create a hard cover for your book and explore a variety of style options using book-cloth and decorative papers. At the end of the day, you will take home a finished book, plenty of inspiration and the skills to continue working on your own projects.

Materials will be provided, but please feel free to bring along any of your own that you'd like to work with.

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners or for those who need a refresher.

Teas and coffees will be available during the day but please bring along your own lunch.
